Midwest Cyber Center

The Midwest Cyber Center (MC²) is a nonprofit organization formed as a workforce intermediary for the express purpose of strengthening the regional cybersecurity workforce. Its formation was in response to an exhaustive needs analysis and feasibility study, commissioned by the Leadership Council of Southwestern Illinois and the U.S. Transportation Command at Scott Air Force Base (AFB), and conducted by the St. Louis Regional Chamber. Data showed an immediate need to increase cyber security analysts in the Midwest region – thus, the formation of the Cyber Center. MC² has quickly established itself as a backbone organization grounded in Midwestern values that will lead the region to become a cyber ecosystem other communities will follow. This mission is to educate this generation of cyber professionals, inspire the next generation of cyber leaders, and connect the region’s cyber ecosystem. www.midwestcybercenter.org
